I’ve loved photography since I was 9 and started taking pictures with a tiny film camera. I can still remember the thrill of the postman delivering my prints and the anticipation of seeing the photographs.
With the advent of digital cameras, my photography was revolutionised. I was no longer limited to 36 frames and didn’t have to wait a week or so for my film to be developed. I could rush home and see the results straightaway. I graduated from a small Fuji to a DSLR with a full complement of lenses. Every spare moment was taken up with photography.
A further evolution happened with the iPhone and most of my photographs now are taken with my iPhone 8+. I’m often found down grungy back streets in Manchester indulging my love of street art and decay.
